Headed back to the home land at the end of the week. Should be a good trip, my Montana State Bobcats have had a great year, and will probably go into their 111th meeting with the rival Montana Grizzlies ranked #1 in the Division I FCS poll. We'll see what it shows on Monday. I'll be there to watch in a warm box seat, after I pick up my sweet new ride. Then turkey day with the fam, followed by a road trip back to SoCal just after I get tired of the snow. Should be fun.

My interpretation for those of you who are still residents:

It gets better. Life as an attending can be grand.

Life does get better for sure. It still has its rough patches, but generally fewer. I just finished a stint of staffing the unit every other week for a few weeks. Then you can generally afford to take a bit more time, and do a bit more, even on a government anesthesiologist's salary.
