Hi everyone,

I haven't really utilized this site as much as i could have. i'm currently applying for a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry, and am looking only at programs in New York. Given that the rank list is due soon, I'm really conflicted between some programs, and was hoping for some feedback, which would be greatly appreciated.

I interviewed at Albert Einstein-Montefiore, and was very impressed with their fellowship program. They appeared to emphasize education, and the faculty seemed very welcoming and approachable. I also interviewed at Columbia/Cornell and NYU, which are great programs, and have a lot to offer.

My question is- would I be missing out on something if I chose Montefiore over a program such as NYU as my first choice? Is there a difference between these programs in terms of how prepared I'd feel after fellowship as a practicing C&A psychiatrist?

In regards to C&A psychiatry, how does the reputation of Montefiore compare to some of the more well-known programs in NY?

It's hard to tell how a program really is after one interview day. I'm hoping for some insight to help me with my rank list. I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks so much!
