Hi Everyone,
I can't afford to attend these optional prelim program interviews (they are not mandatory as they are linked to advanced programs that one may match into). Would anyone be so kind as to share what the general vibes are on these? If you feel more comfortable replying in a private message, I understand.
I guess I just want a "in a nutshell" impression, which I imagine residents or med students that are local have a better/more recent sense of. The Montefiore program is Moses/Weiler.
I'd love to get a sense of ancillary staff support, patient caps if any, overall workload, ICU/CCU experience/expectations at prelim level, overall teaching strength, malignancies, if any. I know in general, city programs are going to be more intense- but if the learning is there, fine...
