I just came to know Montefiore OMFS has some accreditation issue going on...

Can any one clarify me.....

i interviewed there a yr ago, and have a friend who's a first yr OMFS resident there, haven't talked to him in a couple weeks, but would be really surprised if this were true. from what i know it's one of the better east coast programs. i'll ask, but i'm 99% sure it's just another rumor.

it's not, if you look on the ADA specialties accreditation page (i dont remember what the link is). It's written Accreditation WITH reporting requirements.

and it says -Last Accreditation Visit: 2006
Accreditation Status: Approval "WITH" Reporting Requirements.
That means there is a problem with accreditation and I dont know what it is.
rest of all the accredited programs says -Approval "WITHOUT" Reporting Requirements.

Does that concern you if you want to rank that program...

I am quite concerned about it....
