Taking location out of the equation, what are people's thoughts on reasons to choose/not choose this program over the other big Manhattan psych programs. The obvious ones that come to mind are choose because the lifestyle is good and people are supportive/friendly, don't choose because there aren't as many research opportunities or as varied of a patient population.
Anyone have any idea on how going here versus a more prestigous program would affect future job prospects?
Anyone know if the diversity of the patient population (from a socioeconomic and education standpoint, not ethnically) varies from the patient base at other NYC (Manhattan) programs?
