I'm an intern at a NYC internal medicine program and i am thinking of leaving my residency and moving to LA at the
end of my intern year - i was wondering how I might find moonlighting opportunitites to support myself while i am
living out there - i will be licenced at the end of this year and i want to take a break from residency in general...is
there a listing of moonlighting positions somewhere ? how do residents find these jobs outside of their hospital
system ?

any advice or job tips even greatly appreciated!!

You can contact the many recruiters, usually listed in the advertisements of JAMA, Annals or NEMJ. You can also apply and do research online. Daniel & Yeager, Staff Relief etc.
But be sure to tell them that you have done an internship only. Greedy recruiters may place you in positions where your training has been inadequate. It only takes one mistake...

hey thanks a lot that's really helpful!!
