Moonlighting
Started by tiger816
Is moonlighting common in urology? Does anybody know of any residency programs that allow it?
I'm sure some programs let you moonlight during your research years. I know mine does.
While many programs allow moonlighting on paper, hours spent moonlighting count against your maximum of 80 hour work weeks. Though not as greuling as general surgery residency, for example, you will put in plenty of hours as a urology resident, making moonlighting during non-research time difficult (since you will likely go over your 80 hours.)
