Essential Clinical Anatomy with Agur is Baby Moore.
Clinically Oriented Anatomy with Dalley is Big Moore, and is about twice as long.

I would get Big Moore. Baby Moore is just the tables and some graphics from Big Moore. If you need further explanation of a concept, you def need Big Moore. That being said, Baby Moore is more accessible and more easily digestible because it is so bare bones.

Pick your poison.

I have big moore and haven't even touched it after the first 2 weeks. If I really have a question about something I just look it up on the internet in a fraction of the time.

i used baby moore as a student and got honors in anatomy, so i guess it was adequate!

I used no text and got honors in anatomy, so I guess that was adequate too!

I'd personally go with Netter's (more for the lab component), your class notes/Powerpoint slides, and maybe a board review book like USMLE Roadmap by White. There isn't enough time to read a book like Moore.

Moore is too ridiculous to attempt to read first semester. I would read the sections and retain almost nothing. Second semester I can read it fluently...but I don't have time to do so.

Purchase and learn Baby Moore but have access to Big Moore. You need to read and review the blue boxes as they have the clinical information that you need. The rest of anatomy is the dissection which worked fine for me with Netters atlas. I photocopied the plates I needed for lab and left the atlas at home. I wrote notes on the back of the photocopies.

My combo, since our lecture notes suck is Rohen's atlas, netter flash cards and brs anatomy. We have other stuff assigned, but those in conjunction with streaming acland videos is all I seem to need....or be able to handle.
