Hi y'all,

Pharmcas recommended to write Personal Statement in word processing program, like notepad. But I write it on Word2000 and still in the writing process. Do you guys know what font, line spacing (single/1.5/double) of word that would fit in the max of 4500 characters including spaces?

If an applicant talks a lot about his/her history and background, how s/he gets interested in pharmacy, short and long term goal, + personals, will it get fit though?

Any samples of personal statement are very welcome.

Thanx a lot

bye bye

Font and line spacing has nothing to do with changing the number of characters in your essay. Each letter, space between words or sentances, and punctuation mark in your document counts as a character. You can easily count the number of characters in Word. Go to the Tools menu at the top of the screen and select Word Count. When the word count displays, it will also display the number of characters in the dicument. Feel free to PM me if you have any difficulties.

4500 characters will give you over 1 page single spaced. That is plenty of room to cover many ideas.
