I'm currently volunteering in a pharmacy on weekends, and am in a pre-pharmacy club at my college. Are there any other extra currics I can participate in to make myself stand out? Any/all suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

How bout volunteering to tutor for literacy? Work at a food bank. Be a volunteer counselor for seniors who don't understand the hmo system. Bring food to homebound people.

Call up your local hospital pharmacies and ask them directly that you are pre-pharmacy and would like to do volunteer work. First, I went through the volunteer dept at the hospital, and they told me that the pharmacy didn't accept volunteers. However, after talking directly to the pharmacy managers, they were more than willing to accept me as a volunteer.
