No school can guarantee you to get into a top 5 medical school, as you later will realize, the admission process can be very unpredictable...

I've heard nsurg match rate is actually pretty good these days (like 80%... but you should check that, Tonka). That is, it isn't numbers competitive. Maybe you should go ask our friends, the surgeons on the post-grad section?
