More saturation in optometry or pharmacy?

Hey everybody 🙂

I'm currently in pre-pharmacy, but I'm considering switching to pre-optometry. I work at the pharmacy school at my college, and I've heard from the professors and students that the field is very saturated, so I wanted to switch to pre-optometry for more job stability. I enjoy both fields, and the salary difference doesn't bother me, I really just want job security.
Does anyone here know if optometrist jobs are saturated too, or which field is more saturated?
