Hello all just a quick question. Not sure if this applies to a lot of people but I personally finished my undergraduate studies in biology in 2011 and didn't have a great cGPA(2.80). Even though I always had interest in patient interaction and physical therapy, I wasn't very confident in my GPA. Therefore, I chose to enroll in a BSc program in nursing instead which will end in 2014. If i apply for PT should I wait until the nursing program ends or is it possible to apply during the 2013 cycle as well. Additionally which BSc grades do they look at. Thanks so much

I am pretty sure that if you obtained another bachelor degree that they will just look at the most recent bachelors degree, the last bachelors degree earned. If you apply starting in summer 2013, you would most likely start pt school in August 2014, but that date can vary depending on what school you apply to. Some can start earlier in the summer or even the winter. You have to look at the schools you are interested in specifically to figure that out.

If the school participates in PTCAS, the courses from both degrees will be combined for an overall reported GPA.
