Hi All,

There are a total of 20 Optometry schools. Out of the 20, there is 1 new optometry school (MCPHS). Out of all these schools, which one is the most challenging one (as far as gpa/oat/total package) to get into and the most lenient one to get into? Please do a ranking list, with #1 being the most challenging to #20 being the most lenient.

Here's a list of all of the schools' entering stats in 2010. You can probably figure it out from there, since it's unlikely their averages changed too significantly for 2011.

They all offer the same degree (OD).

Absolutely. It's akin to asking, "which car dealer should I buy my new Toyota from?"

First, all the cars are made the same just as all OD degrees are the same.
Secondly, no one on earth will care where you bought your Toyota or your OD degree.
Thirdly, you will not learn anything more useful from one school vs the other.

Optometry is not medicine where a degree from Harvard will mean something.

Just go to the cheapest one. Make that your ONLY factor and you will thank me later (but you'll still be mad at me for not trying harder to keep you from going in the first place).

Your right! By the way the 2012 Toyota Camry is a great vehicle 🙂

True, but you will have a better chance of passing Boards Part 1 at some schools than others.
