haha i think the shooting one was western. i hear detroit mercy is a tad sketch too
there was a shooting in front of temple dental school according to one of posts here
Temple, hands down. Apparently, absolutely no one lives within walking distance to school. I know of no other school with that same predicament.
No other school has patients overflowing the waiting area and lining up outside the door either.
I understand that your heart pumps kool aid, and the urban environment scares you, nothing wrong with that. Temple isn't the right school for you. You have established this in all your Temple bashing threads. Give it a rest already.
howard?
Ha! Now that has just a small taste of prejudice in it. But then again, I don't know the crime rates around Howard, it is in D.C., so maybe not.
I really think a better question is what school's don't have a bad neighborhood around or near campus, I think a majority do.
UMich is in a great area. WVU is in a nice area, too.

I'm pretty sure no school, not even Temple, has patients lining up outside the door.
The school where I'm doing my specialty does. I bet Temple does too.
But its for.... EXTRACTIONS!!!! You can train any sh#thead to extract a tooth. Once you've extracted 20 teeth you've extracted a million.
Show me a school that has people lining up to get root canals and crowns; that's where to go.
Wow, you are the coolest. I think it's great when a dentist comes and posts in a predent forum and then backs it up with facts and validity. I just hope I can pay it forward in 4 years.

Surely you meant Louisville and not Kentucky (UK)?OHSU, Kentucky, Loma Linda, .......just to name a few

I've walked to school (Temple Dental), guess that means by definition I live within walking distance, right? It's actually not scary as long as you're not afraid of your own shadow, and this is coming from a guy so white he glows in the dark.
Once you start dental school you'll understand that there is a lot more to be afraid of inside your school than outside.
Temple's dental program neighborhood. make sure you invest in a glock if you decide to go there.
The schools with the best campuses are NYU and UCLA tied for first, without a doubt.

I find it truly insulting for you to say such but it just show how much of an ignorant dunce you are. And for your information, any area can be violent! From USC to NYU, Anywhere can be violent. So before you go blurting out "Howard?" check the stats 1st.😡
Instead of telling us how insulted you are or your opinion of someone that posts something you disagree with, why not tell us WHY Howard isn't a dangerous school environment? Don't you think that would be time better spent? (not to mention it would actually add value to the thread...)
MWU got the awesome environment to support their students.
I'm pretty sure no school, not even Temple, has patients lining up outside the door. When I visited Temple, the waiting area was pretty empty to tell you the truth. Again, I am not bashing Temple, I am just voicing my opinion. I am not living in some delusional world and if there is something that I mentioned that you don't agree with, I would appreciate it if you specifically noted what I stated that was incorrect.
Thanks.
Yes, the one in Glendale, Arizona. The Arizona campus?
As a matter of fact, on many days, UIC has patients lining up well before the school opens waiting in the freezing cold just to get an appointment.
Lining up for the doors to open is different from lining up because the waiting area is completely full . . .
