Hi Everyone,
I think most of us have caught an episode of House, ER, Scrubs etc. Which one is rated, closest to what actually happens in real life?
any thoughts?
Scrubs, hands down (the older episodes)
... "Strong Medicine"!
Anyone?? 🙄
I've heard the first few seasons of scrubs are a better representation of medicine than other shows.
It's very true - especially since the first few seasons took a lot of material straight out of "House of God" by Samuel Shem (which, if you pre-meds haven't read yet, you must.)
That show is a fail. The whole thing ends up being an autistic kid's daydream that takes place inside a snowglobe, as revealed on the last episode.Anyone ever heard of St. Elsewhere? It's old, but I think it's also pretty true in some respects.

That show is a fail.
Also, whoever said House is realistic is a *****. He would've lost his medical license on the first episode.
I think I smell sarcasm.House.
Cause we know in real life that a doctor can overdose the patient, use wrong drugs, and nearly kill him without being reprimanded, sued, or fired.
It was a good series. Feel free to edit your post to not ruin the ending...
Nurse Jackie
That show is a fail.
