Cystourethrogram looked and sounded pretty painful...not to mention when I saw the bladder get over distended with contrast that the fluid shot out wildly when the syringe was withdrawn....you gotta learn on someone.

bone marrow biopsy. Oh yeah, the name doesn't sound bad, but the noises made by the patient during the procedure are awful, sounds like a person getting knifed to death!

The way our Pathology professor described it was probably as bad as the procedure, what with the "bone spicules with tiny nerve endings being ripped from their moorings," and the "tiny infarcts happening every millisecond." And, of course, the mention that there was really no way to keep it from hurting.
