I applied to the summer research program at Mount Sinai from here:

does anyone know about this program for premeds?
Is it a good place for research?

Mount Sinai is so bad it doesn't even exist anymore

From what I heard, getting a position through the volunteer research program at Sinai is tough because so many people apply to it. It might be more worthwhile to email PIs there.
