Now is the best time to buy a Harley if anyone is thinking about it. When the economy has a down turn used bikes show up dirt cheap. Never, ever, ever buy a Harley new. NEVER!!!

Lots of people buy Harleys because of the image they think it projects. Most of these bikes stay parked in the garage with an occasional bar trip aka the movie Wild Hogs. When the economy tanks the first thing these people do is sell thier garage art. I figure you can pick up a 2 year old Harley with 2000 miles or less for 5 to 10k under sticker.

No, my bike does not stay parked in the garage. I ride it to work everyday as long as the low temp is above 40. I put 10,000 miles on it last year.

Ha! I'm inherently lazy. "Loo, DVM" is just fine...anything else gives me hand cramps. Plus, I'm just a lowly BS pharmacist and not a PharmD. And yeah, I plan to keep the license(s) current. God knows newly-graduated vets don't make that much, but have the debt load of medical students...

I feel the need...for speed! I miss my Ducati Monster 990. Had to sell it to put a downpayment on my house.🙁

dude...what do you look for in a bike when you are buying it used? Do they have a "carmax" like place for bikes?
