Because while I find Barks suspicious, I find please more sus at the moment. My concerns about Barks are related to one specific thing, but my concerns about please are legion.

I feel like I am reading PSV very differently than everyone else.

There has been a lot of talk about the playing with the sister narrative. But, reading back over it, PSV is the one typically bringing it up. Most other players have said they don't care about it. Feels unnecessary and trying to get sympathy/posts without actually wolf hunting.

The Barks sus for not remembering BioShock also seemed extremely manufactured.

For me it was never that she didn't remember. It's that her sus on Please felt manufactured. The defense or offense or whatever about Bioshock doesn't matter.

THIS post (that you responded to did), but when zenge gets very riddler-ish especially when he swoops in with it upon mention of his name like he was lurking all along, is sus. And he has been doing that.

Okay I’m starting to tinfoil that sunny was projecting here and she’s literally trying to be less readable in what she thinks of things by wow reacting everything. I remember there being much more of a balance of wows, hmms, and likes

Tinfoil is a mood. But no, not projecting. I still have a mix. In fact I’m pretty sure I’m the one who inspired the “so many hmmm reacts” comment a bit ago. My same code still applies. Guess Dubz just disproportionately says shocking, surprising, and appalling things.

I hate to be sheep er, but I could write a treatise on why sometimes it's OK and not wolfy. Main issue with sheeping when village is 1) may be sheeping a wolf if your read on one person is bad, hence why better to form your own reads on MULTIPLE people 2) even if the person steeped is village, they could still have bad reads 3) not giving village enough to evaluate you with by sheeping, resulting in yo ass getting misread 4) you're just not doing as much to help the class out and advance the game

That said, not entirely sure how sure I feel about shorty, but I have to say my reads list looks a lot like hers.

Some of the POE and neutrals could be swapped. Not sure I feel as strong about True.

Sadly just realized the main way my list would differ is just making everyone more equivalent. Sad.

I don't want to go too far into NKA but I don't get Paws as the NK choice at all. Like shorty said, she hadn't played for a long time, and she was sort of in some people's POEs so I don't know why they wouldn't choose someone else.

Most games the most likely explanation for a NK on a player high in the POE is that wolves thought they sniffed a PR. But none in this game, right? Or was there at least 2? If no PRs this game, she's an odd choice. If there are, the sunny comment about "cards close to vest" I had a feel of too on Paws, and that had me worried about a PR and I'm not even good at sniffing that when it's my job as a wolf, so if village me caught that, wouldnt be surprised if woofs did too. If you're village you're likely to mistake this vibe for wolfy. If you're wolf, well, you know it can't be wolfiness... sometimes a village PR is trying to get data from the class and the thread for making a target choice, and wolves can definitely pick up on that. That's my theory. If there are PRs. I dunno. My life is crazy these days so yeah. The Chesire cat comment...

Not especially. It's more of an abstract thing about wanting to see veterans' opinions of players I haven't played with before or have only played with once. Something is giving me the willies and I want to see who else is willied.

Genny and Sunny. I have slightly less sus on Dubz and Mayo than you, but not none. As we know, this early in game it's pretty rare for me have many people in village or even village sided neutrals.

Haha, well, no. But I keep going back and forth on how I feel about Cray. Initially felt good because she seemed more relaxed than wolfCray, then felt like she was not the paranoid village Cray I know, then found some more posts that felt more village Cray (the balance of genuine-sounding paranoia, thinking-out-loud, and humour, quoted below) but still feel like overall there’s a LOT of posts that don’t feel distinctly wolfy but just don’t give the thoughtful, paranoid villageCray vibe

The reason it bothered me was his reasoning for not believing in plot armor. It bothers me when people yeet noobs or past mods for that same reason (not believing in the rule of not yeeting them). I don't see the point of yeeting someone just as a personal stand. Now, if he thought Zenge was actually being super wolfy, then sure. Yeet away. But my personal preference is for people to always vote for something they believe in or make it clear the post is a joke.
Anyway, I know mayo said he didn't want to have this discussion again and I'm not going to try to force my personal gameplay beliefs on other players, but that's where I was coming from.

RVS = random voting stage, which is the key to my point. I’d agree with you if it were later, but this was in the first couple pages so I don’t see how it’s a reasonable expectation to say people can only vote someone they believe is a wolf at that stage, and I don’t see the reason for singling out mayo’s silly reason over other peoples’ silly reasons at that stage

I think I feel confident about this exchange not being w/w. Usually just the amount of interaction they’re had on thread would be enough for me to feel good they’re not wolf/noob wolf but I’m sure PSV would be aware there might be suspicion if she didn’t interact with her sister. But this would be tough for a pretty-new-wolf to feel confident doing to a brand-new wolf.

Much less confident, but I think I want to give a village point to speechy for how she handled it. Very straightforward, boldly disliked the post, didn’t get weird and defensive.

I agree that please feels a little stilted this game compared to usual. I don't have the best track record reading her though.
I find it interesting that Barks doesn't notice pleasy's tone seeming different. I buy that pleasy could be village and her tone is different because she's stressed, but implying her tone is the same as usual feels strange.

Looking back this is sketchy to me how PSV went from a hedgy read on please that says she could be village to yeeting her and saying she was the most sketchy at the time (while sheeping the reason).
