1. I’m on vacation now and I was exploring around, now checking the thread before going to dinner.
2. I did not overreact to cray in any way, either game play wise or personally.
3. You’ve never played with me before so you don’t know but when I’m village the main way I wolf hunt is by the way people interface with me.
4. Cray would ordinarily never try to build a case against me on top of verifiable untrue things.

Dude you seriously need to just chill out

I was just trying to think through scenarios and explore notable on thread interactions between peeps, and with Paws who was an odd kill choice, and I have a child who I'm pretty sure is sucking out my brain cells through the straws that are my nipples. Seriously dint know what it is about new parenting that I can feel the brain cells dying, so I am following things even less well than usual. People who played last game can vouch that village mom cray does play extra sloppy these days. Sure you could argue I'm a wolf, I'm just saying this may not be the best clue for my Aff, essentially it's NAI I Don't remember what mountainous means. And not gonna Google it. And ppl have told me and not gonna remember it.

I can offer my thoughts and thy might be useless and that's it.
 
Sunny I didn't really go after you, but the way you seem to want to latch onto my vote about it does feel really blown out of proportion, especially when I'm not married to the idea (how could I be? I dint know snyones aff).

When I'm a wolf and I fake go after someone for a misyeet, I don't have to back off, offer or take an olive branch, give benefit of the doubt, I know what they are, thar I'm gonna alienate and piss them off sussing them and trying to misyeet them. Better to just commit to those reads.

But when I village, and I throw sus, it's interesting to see who gets the most upset about it and worked up. And even more telling, for the reasons I said above, who is willing to take the olive branch of, hey, I might be wrong, what so u want to do about it? Hunt for wolves?

Villagers are trying to find villagers. They're reevaluating reads. They're usually willing to reconsider someone if they seem like they want to work with you.

I've caught several wolves, not just because they threw sus my way and voted me, but specifically because they had ZERO interest in the olive branch. Paws in the FTF game perfect example.

I actually don't care if you yeet me. I welcome it. I hope that the villagers going after my yeet can come across more reasonable, and I hope the wolves are revealed for the way they go about it.

So which is it going to be, Sunny? I know I'm village. Are you village and interested in working with me to find wolves? Or are you just more interested in a misyeet? I guess we'll see.
 
I also have caught wolves by coming onto thread saying dumb stuff, like stuff like tinfoil based on wrong info, like about PRs in a mountainous game, and I don't say dumb wrong stuff on purpose knowing that, but when village I don't bother to avoid doing it and looking bad. Because it is an easy cheap opening for wolves.

I caught Pip that way one game.

Now,, I fully admit wolf Cray will say dumb stuff too. Because vill Cray will. And villagers will overlook the dumb stuff as dumb stuff, and realize it's NAI for me because I always do it.

But when I'm village and there's wolves, the wolves eat that stuff up because they have to invent that someone is wolfy and they need justification.

Failing to recognize my dumb stuff is NAI, and instead trying to yeet me for it, has been quite telling for the Aff of other players.

This is only my second time playing with Cray so it's not like I know every aspect of her meta, but I don't see either of her posts as a stretch. Eh wanna answer this a little.

If you really think someone is village, and you wonder why they wolves don't bother to NK, there are two reasons and neither is really helpful but still worth thinking through both ways.

One is that the person is acting as a village leader and they are totally wrong about their reads In a way favorable to the wolves and wolves have infiltrated village bloc with them.

The other is maybe less common, but the person's reads are *too* good, and wolves are afraid if that person is NK, the village will put even more stock into their correct reads. Not killing the person can sometimes allow the wolves to try instead to deal with the issue some other way they hope will be more effective and less likely to backfire.

I agree with you about Vis, maybe Dolphin, appreciate your caution about shorty, and the rest of the list except seems bold you trust zenge and mayo so much. Why? Don you feel you can read them?

So I see shorty earlier read of me as villageish iirc means little those of you reading her as village when she is much more familiar with my play than you are? Just trying to track the logic here and pinpoint where the cray sus is coming from. I can feel the misyeet coming on because my name keeps getting repeated and I'm not around and as caught up as I would like. So when that happens, I will urge you all to do the same, track the cray misyeet logic.

Paranoia. I feel really good about a core group of people and those not included are necessarily going to fall into a more suspicious category. With full recognition that I am totally unfamiliar with your wolf meta and very limited in my knowledge of your village meta. However, I find sunny more sus than you right now, and the two of you's interactions don't feel manufactured so if she flips wolf that will be that.

There are people I feel much worse about. I wolfed with her in BoWWling a few months ago and went back through that thread to compare what she did under pressure in that game vs this one. I found the tone and content to be very, very different. Here she's using much more AtE, spreading sus elsewhere, and it feels like she's grasping at straws to try and save herself-- like a villager would, not a wolf. She's just so different in this game than she was in BoWWling, so I'm inclined to focus on some other people (mayo, sunny) before reconsidering Vis.
I have no idea whether my thoughts are making any sense right now. I don't want to be awake but a certain someone decided to cry and wake me up.
 
Okay, enough of a network of interactions has formed that I think I see a vote that will clarify my reads on several different people.

Yeet Sunshine

Not necessarily because you're radiating wolf (no one in this game is), but because your reads list, push targets, and reactions to pressure have all added up to make me feel uncomfortable. Then on top of that, you have enough interactions with several other players in my POE to give a lot of information.

Fully willing to be talked into a different vote, but this is the best I've got.

I’m growing concerned, actually. One of my posts yesterday was a bit of a reaction test specifically for her, and I didn’t like how she responded to it (when I made a comment about True’s remark feeling tingly and she leaped to defend him). One of the things she did a lot in the last game was defending other people, and I was already a little uneasy with how much she was doing that with her sister, but seeing her do it with True too made me uncomfortable. The 2 of them have been almost lockstep liking my posts, and while I feel pretty good about my True village lean, I’m not feeling very comfy with her doing it too.

@Zenge142 I’m still waiting for an answer to how you’re reading her. And @Truenamer, you seem really confident that she’s village, but can you explain what comments in this game have made you feel that way?

True (and speechy, mainly because she's been asking questions on thread that I feel she would ask in wolfchat if she were in it) are my strongest village reads so far. It being D3, I'm very eager to avoid a villager misyeet. Naturally I'm going to defend the people I think are village :shrug:

I also rarely seem to be the NK choice even if I’ve outted the entire pack, so I’m not sure why anyone is surprised that I’m still alive in a game where I’m not playing very well so far. I’m half asleep so I might be forgetting a game, but I think I’ve only been NKed … 4 times ever.

D1, wobbling on your please read, then jumping ship when the wagon intensified to the point where it was fairly clear she was going to be yoten anyway. D2, jumping back and forth on your barks read and ultimately yeeting her. The NK choices would make sense for a veteran trying to take out players that might be able to notice they're scum.
I'm torn here between "villagers are allowed to be wrong" and "pattern is starting to look like scumming." Anyhow, I'm still more interested in mayo and sunny over you but I don't think I can completely discount the idea that you could be scum. I know you've previously mentioned you wolf very rarely, especially here, and paranoia is starting to set in.

This is a lot weaker than I was hoping for, tbh. Particularly this last line. So… you think that because I’ve randed village a lot … that I might be wolfing? That’s basically a nonargument.

And this is obviously WIFOM, but indecision on my votes does not fit how I wolf. You can go look at HZD or my more recent wolf game on MU if you want meta references. And I’m not a dickwolf, thank you very much.

I find it interesting that you bring this up only after I mentioned beginning to become concerned about you.

I didn’t drum a parade and through a campaign against you, I planted my flag down with a vote that wasn’t naked and then got 1003783929 questions/comments/concerns I had to keep responding to. People were making me defend the stance. Ironic that you say “no idea why ... seems to be trying so hard to stoke sus of me” when that was my whole point to your essays based on me.

I actually feel I can read zenge better than both most people can and than most people credit me for.

Mayo I can’t always read as well. But he is right that he will normally be inherently protective of me but wasn’t seeing enough village from me which I thought seemed genuine.

Because one of the evolution of my read on true and how he has been interfacing with me. He had largely been agreeing with me, voted with me, liking my posts, to the point I thought he was pocketing me and I moved him from mixed into wolf zone. Then suddenly after that I’m at the wolfiest end of his world and now he’s voting for me. That’s why I said very interesting.

Okay so since I am in fact village, you better make sure another village death is worth “clarifying” your other reads aka it better be to lock in the 3 wolves.

1. Mayo, see above. His concern of me seemed sincere. And even though he’s #3 on my list, there would be a space if I made spaces. It’s not a strong village read. It’s just that when ranking order listing people against each other, no one besides zenge (and myself) was able to surpass him in villageness.

2. Genny was kind of the leftover. The list was physically built by copying and pasting the names and started with me as village at top, cray as wolf at bottom, and Genny as neutral in the middle. I had not ordered everyone until then and went by my overall impression as I ranked people in. There wasn’t a mathematical formula. Genny is not a village read for me but is in the middle which is neutral. And though she voted for me that’s not unusual for her. I used to be pretty good at reading Genny but between her not be on much and me not being on much the first 2 game days, I wasn’t ever able to form a read on her.

I’ve only played with her when she was a wolf and my tot reads on the noobs are not helpful for when actually playing with them.

No, I was trying to say because you haven't wolfed here very often, it's likely much harder to tell when you're wolfing because you don't necessarily have an established wolf play pattern.
If HZD is the one where you won as a lone wolf, then I don't find it super helpful in this case because there are no lone wolves.
 
Again: I'm actually still leaning shorty village. There are several people I'm more interested in. But I would be goofy not to reevaluate my village reads when there's still this much uncertainty around who any of the pack members are.

Just overall game solving effort feels genuine.

I don’t agree with everything she’s said, but on the whole, I get the impression she’s making a genuine effort at game solving.

Zenge and True, in that order, are my strongest village reads. I feel pretty confident in both of them being village.

I'm floundering a little when it comes to wolf reads (especially since I didn't look at the thread for the majority of yesterday and need to really sit down and go through posts of a few people). Right now, I'm most concerned about sunny and you to some extent, but with the caveat that I still need to look at posts from other people who were floating in my neutrals.
