@potentialsheltervet are you one of the people shorty knows IRL? I don’t know everyone’s connections but I see your reactions to her posts about me which I told you I interpret so wondering if you’re just having a laugh with your friend like when you were having a laugh with your sister, or that was a meaningful game related agreement.

There isn't any kind of deeper meaning here. I tend to "like" posts that make me nod thoughtfully. I haven't played with you before but shorty has, and I mostly trust that she's village right now, so it's making me think.

@holdthemayo, curious about your thoughts on this and how you feel it compares to England.
 
I'm trying to reconcile my feelings on being concerned about PSV, but both of my village reads, who have played with her much more than I have, seem to be pretty confident that she's village, and then juxtaposing that with the thought that Dubz had expressed a few concerns there and died.

I don't like to use NKA because there's way too much WIFOM in it, but that thought is stuck in my head a little right now.

Not to dig my own grave, but Paws was also sussing me prior to death. I don't remember what Dubz said though.

-bravado/thread presence that seemed sus, but agreed on paws which I initially liked but turned out to be wrong, has other times agree with me— trying to pocket me or just right? He had largely been agreeing with me, voted with me, liking my posts, to the point I thought he was pocketing me and I moved him from mixed into wolf zone. Then suddenly after I posted my list (pocketing unsuccessful) I’m at the wolfiest end of his world and now he’s voting for me (politically popular to do so right now as well).

Paranoid and unsubstantiated thoughts time:

If there's a wolf in my village leans, I'm inclined to think it's Cray, mainly because I know Cray thinks that I'm pocketable and that would somewhat fit our interactions in this game so far. However, Cray and I have also had a decent number of games where we just like, actually agree with each other?, and I haven't felt like she's wolfy in this game so far. It's also D3, which is when I start getting paranoid about her (and usually she'll get paranoid about me around this time too). I don't think she's felt wolfy so far. But that's where I'd look first if I felt sure that there was a wolf in my village leans.

I've talked already about why I think True and Zenge are likely village, plus frankly, if Zenge were a wolf, I'd be dead by now :laugh: though that's not factoring into my read of him at all.

genny's historically the best at reading me out of anyone - she's the closest to having a shorty reading card, though no one has one. I've been feeling pretty okay with her posts, though I was a little thrown by the one she made yesterday where she started getting paranoid. I don't think it was wolfy, but given that she's quite good at reading me, I was surprised by the sentiment behind it.

I'm unwilling to give speech too much credit for noobish questions for the same reason that I was disinclined to give Chaos credit for them in Bioshock - because wolves can and do ask the thread questions that could be asked in wolf chat. Having said that, she's been so disengaged that I still kind of think it's noob village detachment, and if I were going to completely reorder my reads list, I'd probably move her up.

I'm beginning to worry that I gave dolphin too much village credit early on for posts that genuinely felt village, and their contributions have been pretty minimal since then, so I'm skating them down toward my POE, but that's with having absolutely no meta knowledge there.

Still undecided how I feel about mayo and Vis right now - I need to go back through their posts, but I can't until later this afternoon.

I think my POE right now is sunny, PSV, and then the third is someone in my neutrals but I'm not entirely sure of what order I have them in.

Should note for the noobs that Chaos wasn't a wolf in Bioshock, but I have personal experience with asking the thread noobish questions that were also asked in wolf chat, which is why I won't give village credit for it 😉

Not entirely, but I'm not worried about having a POE that's super compatible when we haven't flipped a wolf yet.

And unfortunately, I've seen you be part of a pack that did Stagg-level bussing, so I can't draw any real conclusions about you voting for one of my other POE members yet. I don't think this situation is comparable to that one in terms of vote timing and where the wind is blowing, but it's not something I can completely discount either. If sunny flips wolf, it will move you somewhat more village for me.

I agree with this but I feel more strongly about sunny and I don't think cray and sunny are w/w.

I yeeted true last game D1 as an attempt at distancing. He wasn't in any trouble at that point.
Like I said earlier, this would be a silly game to bus in because there are no PRs, therefore no mechanical outting to worry about.
@speechy_keen This is why I mentioned deepwolfing works ~in theory~. If you bus your packmates in one game, even if you didn't mean for them to ultimately get yoten, then you will never, ever be cleared in another game ever again.

And since I’m village? How would that affect your read of PSV? Cray? True? (Though I still don’t want to be misyeeted)

I disagree with this entirely. kd's Basics game last year had no PRs other than wolves had an extra kill, they bussed like CRAZY D1 (because 3/4 of them were on the board - it was a situation that left them few other options), and they won.
 
Also, there was no way for me to know genny would seer true that night. I was in danger D1 and thought I could at least clear true a bit before I was ded.
Last game really kind of sucked for the wolves so I don't think any of us played the way we would've liked to.

Do you see what I'm saying here? Like it or not, it's part of your meta, and it's the only experience I have playing with you. I can't just pretend it didn't happen.

It would negatively impact my read of PSV. I don't think it would affect my reads of Cray or True because I think you're exaggerating what Cray was doing in those posts and disagree with your interpretation, and I think you're wrong on True.

Yes, I understand what you're saying. But I think last game was a vastly different situation compared to this one.
I'm already not very happy with the situation last game and the idea that it's going to haunt my meta until the end of time isn't an appealing one.

Hello so sorry, ive had a jam packed two days but I have time before work later I am going to go through as much as I can. But also kind of shocked I wasn’t tagged a lot that’s usually what happens to me when everyone gets triggered by the low posting

I’m gonna go ahead and already assume that I could prove your generalizations are incorrect by pulling some quotes and providing context but are you really going to make me waste my time doing that?
 
I ISO'd dolphin and completely disagree with what zenge said about her play. D1 she wound up voting me but didn't really talk much about pleasy at all. D2 she wasn't around much and voted zenge. I would hardly call what she did sussing pleasy a bunch nor throwing mud from the cheap seats.

Because if you go back and ISO Zenge a bit I’m mentioned multiple times where they’re asking why I’m so high in village reads or low in others because I got the impression they were already feeling like they didn’t agree with others conclusions and me not being here posting all the time is the classic way to push sweeping generalizations to get people to follow a vote.

Because I understand me not being here posting is annoying I totally get that, and maybe if Zenge’s vote had come with better argument behind it I’d understand but it doesn’t really. Regardless I’m going to go ISO some other folks and see if I can update my reads. And get a vote in before work, I’ll have a couple breaks to update and post more but I don’t think my break will time out to vote closing time unfortunately
