So I got a 243 on my school CBSE before dedicated time and before even starting UWORLD.

I did do Anki and some step prep(USMLE rx, pathoma, sketchy) throughout the year alongside my classes.

I was shocked and so happy and thought surely I would hit 250s.

Alas, 4 weeks later after busting my ass with UFAPS and I took NBME 17 and got a 245. I have another 3 weeks left and was wondering from high scores any tips on moving to the 250s or epiphanies you had in your studying that got you there?

I know a few people who dipped from 250's to mid-low 240's on NBME 17. I would see how you do on 15, 16, 18, and 19. It seems 17 and 19 have less forgiving scales than the others.

Have you taken any others?

Nope just been doing UWORLD and have a 78% average right now.

Afraid of taking another NBME and taking a hit to my confidence and freaking out lol

Just take the test and get it over with. Then go live your life on vacation before 3rd year kicks ya in the nads.

Srsly though. Take one of the other NBME's in a few days. Then another in another week or so. If you're happy with how all three of them are, just get it over with.

Yeah foreal, in my case its hard to predict since I wont have covered all the systems thoroughly until like a few days before the test. NBME 17 was reproductive heavy and I got like 9 of them wrong.

It just bothers me when I see people say "NBME will be very close to your actual score" but thats not always the case depending on peoples study plans
