I propose a thread to setup a tradding/ second-hand moving box forum. Many of us will be renting moving trucks & driving cross country. Anybody interested in splitting the cost of moving boxes?

I'll start: I'm moving from Salt Lake City to Charlotte, NC on June 12th. If anyone's moving to Utah and will be here before then, I'll buy your moving boxes from you, and then sell them to someone moving AWAY from North Carolina, if there are any takers.

Have you tried going to your local grocery store and ask for the apples and orange boxes. That is what we used for evey move(which is going to be fourth for residency) Does not cost a thing and good and sturdy.

Better yet, go to Office Max / Kinko's / etc. and ask for their empty paper boxes! They are perfect for books, dishes, etc.
