Greetings,

I was curious to see if anyone has experience moving from one state to another and could weigh in on how difficult that process was in regards to getting licensed? Is it a significantly difficult process or is it just kind of spendy? Does it depend on the state?

Thanks in advance!

I have licenses in four different states. It slightly depends on the state, but generally speaking, it's not that different from place to place. You just need to visit the board website and submit all of the things they want you to. Usually that means an application with a check, board reports, transcripts, licenses from other states, jurisprudence exam, background check/ fingerprints, a copy of your diploma, and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting.

If you can graduate from dental school, you can probably get through the application for a licensure anywhere.

TLDR: Just follow the instructions per the board. It's not hard.

Oh great, that’s definitely good to know. Thanks for the info!
