Hi all, I am 5 years out of my internal medicine residency. I practiced clinical medicine for a while afterwards but now I am in a nonclinical setting. I am gearing up to go back for my MPH and considering applying to a Preventive Medicine program.
Anyone out there that has gone back after many years?
In terms of the preventive medicine residency, is there a lot of clinical expected? I am not interested in clinical practice at all, just research.
I am in the triangle area. Anyone have experience with the UNC PM program? Do they accept any of the MPH degrees at UNC? I am planning on doing the MPH first.
Thanks so much!
