I've heard this program mentioned a couple of times and how its really good at organizing notes. Is it a seperate program you buy or something that is included in a MS office 2003. I just bought the student/teacher edition.

It is separate from office 2003. Also, you need a tablet pc or a wacom tablet to use it effectively.

True, it is separate from MSoffice2003, but, you can run it on a labtop. You will not realize all the functions without a tablet, but you can type stuff in, organize notes, annotate notes, set up a schedule, search your notes, highlight text, etc. It is a great program.
You might also want to check out GoBinder. Smaller company without the name, but their whole company is centered around notetaking. Great customer service and a little more user friendly than OneNote and it will search text you import in whereas OneNote will not. The only downfall is, it is a little bit slower program (speed) than OneNote.
Both are very similar and it is amatter of preference.

do you have personal experience with the wacom tablet? do you know how good they are for taking notes with?
