Hi all,
I've recently developed a strong interest in Urology and as such have been obsessing over my course of action for the remainder of MS2 and more importantly 3....This includes a careful look at ENT. While I realize the fields are different, it appears that many of the same things draw people to these two fields. Also, I have read every Uro vs. ENT post! Anyway, on to my question:
How much follow-up and long-term patient care do ENTs typically have? At this point, knowing my patients over time is very important to me and has dissuaded me from other surgical fields. I've read much on these forums, but never seemed to find info on that specific issue. My understanding is that Urologists have many opportunities to follow patients long-term. Is it the same in ENT? More? Less? Any insight would be much appreciated.
