There is a PDF called the Osteopathic College Information Book (CIB) and that's as close as it gets but it's not as detailed as the MSAR. At least it's free, though! You can probably do a board search to find it. I just tried to upload it and it said it was too big to load.

Hmmm...avg LizzyM score for 2014 now a ~63....and rising! Note the the two coastal Touros and CCOM are at ~66...overlapping with a number of MD schools!

Here's the link in case the OP couldn't find it. The individual college information includes prerequisites but not MCAT/GPA averages for each school. It only the shows MCAT/GPA averages for all osteopathic matriculants.

Maybe you could make some money by publishing an osteopathic equivalent of the MSAR! I am willing to bet that some premeds would pay good money for it.

Thanks, I got that one printed out but I'm just wondering where @user3 got school averages and where I can find an official source to show my advisors.
mostly from the school websites. some through email.

Honestly, as much as I think user3's numbers are close to accurate (not sure if I buy Touro NY because 1/4 of their class comes from the MS program that had a bunch of kids with MCATs in the 19-24 range - maybe if you count only those accepted not from the MS program), you're not going to find concrete or exact numbers with a quality source. Schools don't always publish them, and they rarely publish them yearly. If they were expected to like MD schools, it would be a different story, but they aren't. Because of that, schools will have class averages that are years old, class averages based on acceptance numbers, not matriculant numbers, etc.

OK, you know what, I'll just do this real quick. I'll do the best I can with these sources, but be aware some may be outdated, and since none are verified by a 3rd party, take them for what you will:

Touro-NY: ?/?/30.8 (2013) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Touro_College_of_Osteopathic_Medicine (NOTE: Original source no longer exists, so take this for what you will)

Touro-CA: 3.49/3.42/30.4 (2014) - http://admissions.tu.edu/com/demographics.html

AZCOM: 3.51/3.44/28 (2013) - https://www.midwestern.edu/programs-and-admission/az-osteopathic-medicine.html
NOTE: Same link indicates an MCAT average of "29" for 2014 - no mention of the GPAs

yea, Touro-NY could have had a solid 3.4/31 average. But they blew it after they doubled their class size with the Middletown campus.

Yeah, I found some of those, but from different pages. This is the real problem with the lack of 3rd party verification, standardization, etc. Best we can do is estimate or take the schools at their words without knowing whether the numbers are out of date or how they're calculated. It also doesn't help when the schools post different numbers themselves. I'm sure its just different classes and not updating things in a standard way, but seriously...

Let me know if you have any of the ones I'm missing (TUNCOM, PCOM-GA, CUSOM, ACOM, WCU, & LMU).

Thanks for the helpful info!

@user3 (or anyone else), do you know if this info is based on aacomas calculation of GPAs (ie with grade replacement policies)? My cgpa and sgpa are around the averages of some of these schools IF i consider grade replacement, but my gpa is much below most of the averages if I don't consider grade replacement (where only my last grade attempt is factored into the GPA and previous attempts are not).

Thanks! I just want to make sure I'm near the average GPA before I apply this coming cycle.

Can we sticky this please? :D
