Anyone notice that the MSAR description of letter of intent/interest is backwards? Maybe I'm wrong, please educate me if so.

"This medical school accepts the following letters or notifications from applicants
  • Letters of Intent - This letter communicates your strong belief that you would be a good fit and asset for a specific medical school.
  • Letter of Interest - A letter sent to admissions offices by an applicant on the alternate/wait list to communicate to the medical school the applicant's interest to attend if given an acceptance.
  • Notice of Significant updates or achievements - Examples of significant updates might include, published research or articles, significant honors or grants awarded."
Maybe the names are reversed if you're on a waitlist?

They have it right. Interest is usually begging for the chance to interview, intent is begging for the chance to matriculate.

My brain flipped them when i read them lol UR right
