Hi. I am in the final year of a 2 year research based MSc program. I am planning on defending my thesis some time this summer. I have received an acceptance to an allopathic med school and I was wondering if most med schools have particular deadlines for masters thesis defense. ie. does the thesis need to be defended by a particular date or is it fine as long as I defend the thesis prior to matriculation?

I can't imagine why a med school would care, as long as you complete the requirements of the program and can prove it, before matriculation. Why not call the med school that accepted you and ask?
