Which are some well-known MSK fellowship programs known for good training or hidden gem programs and worth going to currently? I.e. MGH, UWisconsin, UVA, UCSD, HSS?

Location trumps everything.

If your desire is to become proficient in reading MSK and performing basic MSK procedures then most programs will suffice. Nothing magical in reading a shoulder/knee MR...If you are more inclined to academics/publishing etc then you have to do a bit more research "pun intended"...Don't think HSS is anything spectacular unless you are an orthopod. Unsure if this is true anymore but at one point HSS MSK fellows had to cover after hours for performing/reading US to r/o DVT.🙄...Unless things have drastically changed, Joint Ds was hands down the best program in NYC...With the said you maybe better off at a quality program like Wisconsin if you have the flexibility
