Hey gang,

I applied recently to this program and wanted to see if anyone on this forum happens to be a student, faculty member, previous student/ faculty, or just applied yourself. Anyone have any words of wisdom, caution, inspiration, joy?

I am actually excited about it, I believe I would place this program at the top of my list for master's programs so far.

Any helpful information, reviews, opinions, etc. about this program would be great. I ended up turning down an admissions offer to TWU's M.A. in sociology. I do want to practice, help people and provide psychotherapy in the near (pretty near if possible) future.

From what I am seeing in my own research on the job market, it looks very good, and a very solid 24-26% growth/ need for mental health professionals by 2025.

I didn't want to comment because I'm not from the program, but I hear that they have a really high student:faculty ratio. That said, they also crank out some really quality people and if you're interested in LGBTQ research I think there's a faculty member or two that can work with you.
