what are some examples of careers after completing residency? you become a physician-scientist and obviously you're prepared to research. how will the physician part come into play? do you go work at the FDA or someplace?

I assume that you can work in a hospital setting lab for 75% of the time, and then practice medicine in the hospital for the other 25% of the time. I'm not saying this is what usually happens, but to me, this sounds like an ideal situation 🙂
