Hi MSUer's.

I was wondering if anyone had seen the inside of the Trapper's Cove one-bedroom apartments (DocGibby, if you're out there?). They did not have any apartments they could show, but the complex seems nice. Is the rent price too good to be true? Thanks for any input.

I was just in East Lansing this past weekend and I checked out Tammany Hills, as well as Trapper's Cove. I didn't really like Trapper's too well: the people there weren't very friendly and I got the feeling they just want to get you into the place; they aren't living there like the people who manage Tammany Hills.

E-mail me if you have any more questions. I think that I can give you some pointers.

Reddy,

I see you checked out Trappers. Ya that price is hard to beat. My buddy is up at Ashton Lakes and he pays around 580/month for near idencticle size and accomadations. The only extras he has are a fire place, vaulted ceilings and about 10 sq ft. Of course he is without the balcony and a pool. In anycase, Trappers seems extremely nice and relatively inexpensive compared to similar apts. I'd have to agree with the last post about the office staff. They are not the friendliest people in the world. Then again, it's not like you have to live with them. I say who cares. Viewing availablity is certainly tough. However, other complexes just barge in on their tenants while their not home to show it. So I guess its good that Trappers makes you wait instead of accomadating. I've found that it's best to just call ahead and find out if something is available to look at. I've decided upon a 1 bedroom Madrid style 3rd floor.
