Hey y'all, having a hard time choosing between these schools. MSUCOM is close to home, whereas Miami is out of state and quite expensive.
MSUCOM:
MSUCOM:
- ~200k COA
- P/F
- Very good match list and good research at MSU!
- suburban area (which I enjoy!)
- ~30 min commute if I choose to live at home
- However, rotations are spread out and would have to move most likely
- Good NIH funding
- MD/MPH program - lots of research opportunities available
- Uhealth and Jackson health system is massive and have lots of research buildings and specialized medical centers
- short preclinical phase
- also P/F
- However, required lectures at 8 am
- Very expensive, will be around 400K COA bc no aid
- Ive been seeing terrible reviews about this school on the sdn school's page and in other places. However, went to visit back in December and really liked the area and the school! So I am a bit conflicted.
