You would just apply to MSU, and then once accepted they would ask which campus you would prefer. We talked about this during my visit day, and the guy thats in charge of the program said starting next fall they will be trying to place a small number (less than 50) kids in the Detroit area. Because so many people come from that area that matriculate, he stated that he doesnt see a problem getting that many to voluntarily want to stay near their families...this would in no way affect the people starting next summer, but would go into effect for future classes.
