MTB 2/3 Clarification

Wen people talk about using MTB 2 and 3 to prep for Step 2, they're referring to MTB for Step 2 and Step 3, right? I just want to clarify before I checkout on Amazon.

Also, is it to early to start working through these, I'm an M3 who's only 3 rotations in?

Yes.

Probably not too early...they will likely help you on your shelf exams.

The classic method is use the IM portion of mtb2 and everything else in mtb3.

When I studied though I used both books cover to cover as they both seem to cover things left out of each other. You will also want some good biostats source and ethics source to supplement. I used step 1 material which covered adequately.

I did exactly what Phlame217 did except I didn't read the IM portion of MTB3 since I felt MTB2 did an excellent job covering it.
