I am interested in working for an PBM in their MTM department and I was wondering if I would need to take the MPJE in every state or would I just take it once and apply to be licensed using just one exam score?

I don't know about MTM stuff but I know there are 16 states that require non-resident pharmacy PICs to be licensed in that state to dispense there.

When I worked at a specialty pharmacy that only did MTM we only needed to be licensed in the state that we were practicing in even though our patients were throughout the country. I'm not sure how relevant that is too your situation though.

Is MTM considered a pharmacist-only duty in these states? I don't see why you need to be licensed in those states to do it if it's not part of the practice of pharmacy.
