Does anyone know the exact date the multiple acceptance report will be distributed to schools?

.. and the exact date has changed yearly, hence the post 🙂
I’m sure there’s more, but let me quote this one for you from a month away
Beginning on Feb. 10th, the PD's know which other programs have a current acceptance to an applicant, but only for those who are currently accepted in that program.
On March 15th, PD's must extend at least as many acceptances as they intend to matriculate.
Beginning on April 1st, all PD's are made aware of all current acceptances for all applicants. In addition, the joint acceptance report shows all of the acceptances (current and declined) for all applicants that they have extended an acceptance.

What is the purpose of the multiple acceptance report? Do schools use it when deciding who to extend merit aid to?

Do schools know where you have been accepted even prior to them making a decision on you? Waiting post-II at some schools and I don't want them to think I'm not a hot commodity.

This report will only allow schools that have accepted you to see where else you have been accepted. Schools that haven’t accepted you won’t see it. The April report goes to all schools, and every school will see where you are holding acceptances.

Just to be clear

--February 10th, : Multiple Acceptance Report is released. Only Schools that have accepted you can see where else you have been offered acceptance. No school can ever see where else you have applied, been rejected, or been waitlisted.

--April (first week or so): National Acceptance Report is released. Any school can now see where you have been accepted. At no time can any school ever see where else you have applied, have been rejected or have been waitlisted

Is the National Acceptance Report release different now than past years? I thought previously schools only see it in May once you can only hold 1 acceptance.

Does being accepted to multiple schools affect your chances of getting off a waitlist elsewhere?

For the National Acceptance Report released on April 1: Does that mean schools can only see the acceptances you've held up until April 1 or can they see later acceptances too?

For example, if someone were to be accepted later on April 17 by school X, can med schools see your acceptance at school X?

does it hurt your chances to be on a WL and have the school see that you have no other acceptances?

It may help or hurt or have no affect. If schools need someone to fill a spot, someone without other acceptances may be more likely to accept the position.

Harvard may wonder why no one else wanted you.
State U will say "This one will definitely accept our offer"

June 30th, being without an acceptance (and local) will be an asset

I have one friend who got into a top 5 medical school off the waitlist at the very last minute - he lived in town.
