I have been accepted to one school about 5 months ago and got another acceptance at different school yesterday. I already paid the tuition fee for the first school but the second school was my dream school and really hard not to resist and give up. I do not need the deposit, just wondering if I can cancel my acceptance and get the full refund of my tuition fee since the semester does not start until the end of May.

Some schools refund you partially but most keep it, I would just ask!

You won't get the deposit back but you should be able to get a refund for tuition minus any associated fees, which are usually just a couple hundred dollars vs a few thousand
