HI Guys and Girls,

Congrats to those with multiple acceptances. It must feel good to have the opportunity to choose. If you already got in to your #1 school please withdraw other applications so we can all have a shot.
I'm sure I speak on behalf of many people here.
Thanks and go celebrate!!!!

I'm with you Dan!!! I'm crazy with anticipation....!!!!!

dan you the man, listen to dan, pick your school and drop the rest

i disagree..he earned the rite to make this decision as well as others with multiple schools

but if he got into his #1 school there is no point in holding other acceptances.

I agree with the dantheman if you have gotten into your #1 choice withdraw your other applications. Admission is tight with so many applicants so give other people a chance. I have begun to send out my letters of withdrawal and I urge other people to do the same.

if there's no doubt, of course..im just saying if theyr still debating, its unfair to force them.

not everyone knows for sure what their #1 is.

i do and so i'm letting everyone know what i'll be dropping but please don't let that be pressure for anyone else.

take your time to make your decision. if you have to hold onto them until the last freaking day possible, i'd say go for it. this is the next 3-4 years you're talking about. no one has the right to tell you what you should and should not do with your acceptance. if you think about it, they want to know because they're looking out for themselves. with that logic, shouldn't you do the same?

given all that, if you do know what your #1 is for sure then by all means, open up the slot for others.

yea take your time...these same ppl pressuring you to decide fast would be taking their time if htey had the opportunity

dont worry, ill drop mine as soon as I get some paper offers in the mail, I think it is kind of rude to call the schools the same day and reject the offer. I dont care what anyone on SDN says, I want to be nice to these schools. I might want to go them after 4 years....

first of all, being the very first day of acceptances, chill out a little before you go ranting to people about dropping other spots. They're still celebrating. When they wake up from the drunken haze on Monday they can still call and it will do just as good.

I have a top 3, but I haven't chosen a #1 yet. I have an interview at ASDOH in 2 weeks that I'm still going to because I want to find out about their school.

But I will be dropping the Nova, USC acceptances and so on.

word!!! can we even get like 10 mins to celebrate our years and years of work...... the monday drunken haze sounds like a good idea

I'm going to withdraw from schools...eventually. I see no reason to do it just yet, because I want to see letters. I want to see financial aid packages, so I can determine which school offers a better package and puts the least financial strain on me. I want time to determine/calculate the costs of various apartments and shop the internet around for other living things. There's much research to be done. This'll take some time, so I will not immediately withdraw from any schools. It's entirely reasonable to go to your number three school once you factor everything else in.

im sorry i didnt mean to pressure anybody. all i was saying was if you are 100% sure, you should withdraw. thats all. congrats to everybody think it thru.

this thread was not created to pressure anyone.
my original post is very clear.
good luck everyone
