What are important qualities in a dental school which, if good, could win you over or, if bad, could push you away?

Note: this is different from the poll I posted earlier b/c location & price aren't at issue AND you can pick multiple selections to indicate ALL the things that matter to you.

It is difficult to prioritize some of the items on the list. At first glance, it may be easy, but given some consideration, many -if not all- become important at some time or another.

Content of didactic curriculum

Research opportunities

Quality of sim-lab and/or clinical facilities

How soon students get clinical exposure

Class size and/or student:teacher ratio

Student support programs (mentoring, tutoring, etc.)

Hearing nothing negative about the school from anyone else

Whether or not class material is computerized

Availability of scholarships/fellowships

Entering class statistics (GPA, DAT, etc.)

Surrounding neighborhood (e.g. suburbia, ghetto)
