Multiple dental practices?

Hi,
I'm hoping in the future to open several dental practices in California, my home state. Recently I heard that their was a 2 practice limit in the state of CA...that doesn't sound right. Can someone clarify?

I'm not sure of how California works. Some states require dental practices to have only owner operators, hence 2 may be the limit for California. I know of 2 dentists here in my hometown that own 3-5 practices and only work in 1. The era of the entrepreneur dentist is upon us.
