Hopefully someone can comment on this because I can't seem to find a thread with search pertaining to DPT. *
My freshman year I had a terrible start aka 4 F's and a C meaning a 1.5 GPA. Retook Bio 1 to replace the F with a C, etc... Long story short - I brought the overall GPA back from the dead to a 3.02 by the time I graduated, but in my eyes the Bio 1 retake grade isn't much better than the F I originally received.*
My question(s) to you: Did your DPTadcomm use the most recent grade to replace the others, did they only take the first retake grade or did they just average the initial and retake grades?
Regardless, I plan on retaking Bio 1 as a refresher so I'm not playing catch up with the other bio pre reqs.*
I'm sure each program goes about calculating undergrad GPA differently, but I'm simply curious if anyone that is now a DPT ran into this during their undergrad or when going back to school for a career change...
... or maybe I'm just the village idiot.
