At my school multivariable calculus is divided into 2 courses. Only the first course is required for my major, and I took it and got an A. I'm taking the second course just for fun, and was wondering if it would be okay if I took it pass/fail.

I wasn't sure if math counts as a prereq that shouldn't be taken pass/fail. I got a 5 on Calc BC, an A in the first quarter of multivariable calc, and I plan on taking a statistics course later down the road.

Is it okay for me take this course pass/fail or will I not be satisfying my math requirements this way? Or would it make me look lazy?

Thanks.

well, you are snorlax so you are lazy.

LOL, JK. I don't think P/F counts for pre-req; maybe you should add on stats?

Med schools won't accept a P/F class for pre-reqs, but you should look into the AP credit thing. While there are some schools that don't accept AP credit, off the top of my head, I don't know of any that don't accept college credit gained through AP courses, if that makes sense. If you can't swing the AP thing, just tack on stats. If you aced multivariable calc, stats will be a breeze.
