I called last week and found out I got accepted, but my interact account was just updated last night. The official letters should have gone out in the mail by yesterday.

i don't think they updated everyone's...mine doesn't indicate my status (i interviewed on jan 3rd)
it just says "application complete" and 'recommendation letter #1' and the dates etc

i have 2 more interviews though (hoping to get a third)

USC is my number 1 choice (i interview there next week) but jefferson is my 2nd

That's awesome! Good luck with USC!

Just curious...if you already have your #2 and USC is your #1, why are you hoping for a third interview? What's the point?

the 3rd is loma linda...it's a very good school and it's about 1 hour away from home

i turned in my application super later (the day before it was due) so i haven't heard anything from them

btw the 2nd one aside from USC is in so cal as well

When did you interview? (I was on the 3rd)

Where are you coming from? (I live here, so I don't have to change my current living arrangements)

I'm from St. George, Utah, which is about a six and half hour drive from Glendale. I interviewed on Jan 4th. I just put down the 500 dollar deposit, so hopefully there will be some student housing available!

The three on my interview panel included:

- 2 preceptors (one who graduated from CPG in 2005 and one who's a district manager for Walgreen's)

- 1 junior professor (he's in his 1st year of teaching at CPG)

Plenty of friends and family there...a lot of kids from my home town go there for football.

Does this university still have the program where 50 P-1's are allowed to graduate 6 months early depending on their GPA. Sorry if my information is kind of confusing, just trying to understand some info.

No. In fact, they've added a 6th 6-week rotation in the 3rd year and have moved up this year's start date to beginning of June.

Man...I sure wouldn't mind getting out 6 mos early if I have a great GPA...that'd be NICE...where's THAT school? LOL.🙄

Since they moved the start date up, does that mean that the program is actually 3.5 years long?

No! It is actually 3 years. Starts June and ends 3 years later in May/June.

Other 3 year programs that start in august and end 3 years later in may/june are really only 2 yr 9 month programs.

So they are actually completing the complete three year program!!!!

Yeah...pretty much ALL 3-year programs will have to actually be roughly 36 months now...DOE cracked down on ACPE to make sure that all students have roughly same # of rotation hours, regardless if it's a 3- or 4-year program.

So I got into midwestern cpg and was wondering if anyone has an issue of overlap between their undergrad classes and midwestern classes. I believe Midwestern starts on June 9th and I don't finish school till June 18th. Anyone else in the same boat as me? 😕

Best thing to do is contact admissions right away. They're well aware of the conflicting/overlapping time schedules with CA schools and I'm pretty sure they have a plan in place to account for that. But email them to make sure.

I really want to attend Midwestern- Glendale and I am a bit worried about my stats...So, ill so what everyone else on this forum does and run them by you guys in hopes of some reassurance... undergrad at cal state long beach have yet to complete orgo2 and physics overall gpa 2.9 science gpa 3.1 taking the pcat in aug over 4 years of health care experience(lab assistant /phlebotomist) 1year research(electrochemistry).... Think I have a chance or should I try raising my stats through a post bac or something??? thank you all sooo much for your time. -Jimmy

Plenty of people have similar stats that have gotten into MWU-Glendale. Do well on your pcats, and you should get an interview at least.
