Okay...FYI for all of us trying to get in to this school...:) (I attended their open house this past weekend, and these timeframes are directly from the authoritative sources)

Up to 2 weeks = turnaround time for them to send you their supp app AFTER they've received your pharm app. (Right now it's quicker b/c they are currently receiving lower-than-expected quantities of pharm apps)

Up to 2 weeks = turnaround time for them to send you an interview date AFTER they've received your supp app. (Again, currently quicker)

Up to 3 weeks = Date of interview from date they notify you of that interview date. (Currently quicker, EXCEPT they are cancelling/postponing interview dates due to lack of sufficient quantity of qualified applicants)

Up to 2 weeks = turnaround time for them to notify you YES/NO accepted AFTER interview. (Currently quicker)

Up to 3 weeks = how long you have to pay $1000 deposit after they notify you that you have been accepted. (I've read some posts where acceptees only had ONE week to pay)

NOTE: All of above times are currently quicker due to lower-than-expected quantity of qualified applicants. The applicant pool is starting to grow now, and they expect to be slammed come December, at which time, this timeline could grow longer.

you should hear from them within the next week. once you hit the three week mark, follow up with admissions.

On their website they say you must have all prereqs completed by May, do you know what the procedure is if your quarter ends the first week of june, and if you don't know the answer do you know an email I can contact them at to ask them (I am having trouble finding it on the website)

I think you have to take whatever class you need at a JC since pharmacy school starts first week of June.

Thanks...I think I will call them on Monday if I don't hear anything by the end of this week. But seriously....it has been the longest two weeks of my life.

this actually came up...although not for UDUB (go DAWGS!!!). during a conversation, the admissions person alluded to their concern with their california applicants since their semesters apparently don't end until beginning of june also.

either way, I think they are factoring that into their admissions - i don't think they can just eliminate applicants because their regular school year ends the same week their new start date begins (I know the first week of june is finals week for UW). that doesn't make much sense since that applies to probably half the schools in the country.

but if you go to CPG's website, i think they have contact email info for admissions dept and they can give you a better answer. if not, the only email i have is for the dean: [email protected]
