The answer to this question will probably differ due to the timing of where we are in this app. cycle, but.....

I've been watching the status of my AACOMAS app. for a week or two now, and my transcripts finally showed up as being received by them (processed by them). That was all they were waiting for from me, so now how long should I expect before they send the app. to my designated schools and how long before I start hearing from those schools? Anybody in this same situation at this time? I'm sure it makes a difference, whether this question is asked now or back in June or July. Thanks

By tomorrow morning you will notice it is sent.. if not in the morning than tomorrow sometimes. Don't panic.. relax... and better yet start working on your supplementy application.

Also, you can do a search on SDN. Scrore to the bottom of this link and put in keep word. This question has been asked by a few people. There is also a link for all the supplementary questions somewhere on SDN... so try something like Osteopathic Supplementry questions... etc... and you will get the thread. Unless someone else is willing to post the link.

If I remember right, I think I read somewhere that it can take up to six weeks. I am not sure, but I think that is what it said. If you get concerned, just call them...I did a few times with questions and they were very helpful.

An e-application is sent out the next day.. at that time most schools where you meet the minimum, requirments 2.75 or 3.00 GPA and maybe MCAT (depending on school) will mail a supplement. Before they get your statement and course list.

My next question, then, is once you've gotten your secondaries and sent them in, how long has it been for some of you before schools extended you an invite? How does the planning process go for travel and so forth?

already asked and there are extensive answers on this.. do a search.... How the second question.. how long it take to plan your travel? Depending on you and how good you are at booking a ticket online.. or agent.

Has this been the common experience? My transcripts have shown received for over a week now and still not sent. I don't want to hassle AACOMAS unless of course that's the real way to get movement on your file...

Just did and was told that my file is "being processed" and should be mailed to my designated schools in "the next week or two." 🙄
