hey guys,

i just took my first achiever test (test #1) and i want to know what you guys think:

Bio: 16
GC: 17
OC: 19
PAT: 14 😛
QR: 18
RC: 20
AA: 18
TS: 17

are these scores good? i've been using the destroyer a whole lot, and the kaplan blue book. when i was doing the pat section, i started getting really dizzy (probably cause of the dry erase markers) lol but i know i definitely need to work on the perceptual ability section...do you think getting crack the pat will help? my actual test date is august 16 and i was wondering if have one more month of studying under my belt will be enough to get my scores in the 20s..thanks for your input! 🙂

I sure hope so! I took the same exam today and I got:

AA 19
PAT 16
QR 18
RC 20
BIO 18
GC 19
OC 18
TS 19

Best of luck to you on exam day! 🙂

Hey guys I dont want to discourage you but I just dont think those are very strong scores. I took the test last oct which I know was late but still I took some extra time to make sure I would take this test once and get a great score. I feel like your sciences are low and your AA is low. For the PAT, you should be around 18 or above in my opinion. When I was looking at school to apply and saw their average scores, I knew I had to be above it to be in a better position than the average applicant. Now if I am not mistaken I have seen 19 AA as the highest average or it may have been a 20. Keep this in mind so you know what competition you have. If your exam is in a month then go on ahead, increase the studying time everyday, take more practice tests and problems and bump up them scores to have a better chance and options for which school you want to go to. Use the DAT achiever to your advantage since I saw a few of the SAME questions on the real DAT from the achiever so good luck with your test.

Hi MSH. Thank you for your input. I have heard from many posters that the achiever is harder than the real exam and if I'm lucky enough, I can expect to add 1-3 points (assuming my performance does not deteriorate) to my achiever score to obtain my DAT score. Is that not true?
